About CCFAA
Who We Are
The Central California Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous exists to aid the AA groups in the greater Sacramento area to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous in keeping with the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of AA.
All groups in the Sacramento area are encouraged to name a Delegate to express the group’s conscience, views and desires at the monthly Delegate’s meeting.
Financial support of Central Office is purely voluntary and is not required for any group’s delegate to participate and vote at the monthly Delegate’s meeting.
Twelve-Step Calls
Central Office maintains a listing for AA in the local telephone directory. AA volunteers answer the phones 24 hours a day. When calls come in from individuals looking for help, the volunteers contact AA members from a twelve-step list maintained by Central Office. The volunteers arrange for an AA member to call any individual seeking help for their problem
with alcohol.
Information
Central Office is the clearinghouse for information and logistical support between individual AA members, groups, local and state committees.
AA Books and Literature
Central Office maintains an inventory of AA books and pamphlets for sale to AA members and the general public.
Meeting Schedules
Central Office maintains records of AA groups and meetings in Sacramento and the surrounding area. To find a meeting, visit our Online Meeting Finder
Teleservice
Volunteers at the Central Office answer the Hot Line during business hours, providing callers with information about AA and directing them to AA meetings.
Service Committee Support
Central Office provides support for various AA committees and a location for these committees to meet and receive mail.
